Our Commitment to Responsible Business

Snigel operates within the Swedish defence and textile sector, where sustainability plays a vital role in how solutions are designed and developed to contribute to a resilient and secure society.

Snigel is a participant in the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. As a signatory, we commit to align our operations and strategies with the ten Principles covering human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption.

Guided by our core values

We believe it is equally important to ensure that our business relationships contribute to sustainable development. Therefore, we collaborate around the sustainability topics with our stakeholders and integrate ESG-factors throughout our operations.

Through our participation in the UN Global Compact, we continuously integrate sustainability — including environmental, social, governance, and economic aspects — into both our business strategy and daily operations.

We also align our work with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement, supporting a sustainable future that meets the needs of today without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own.

To support the goals of the Paris Agreement and strengthen social responsibility across our value chain, Snigel has committed to reduce Scope 3 emissions by 2.5% annually, measured relative to our carbon footprint.

Guided by our core values — Friendly, Innovative, Ambitious, and Trustworthy — we ensure sustainability is a key part of developing Snigel as a company. This approach helps us create greater value for our customers while generating long-term returns for our owners.
